They set out to tackle the problem with a technology-first approach, building agentic AI that can take on repetitive operational work end-to-end.
Having taken mortgage loans themselves, they understood the borrower impact as well as the operational pain inside the bank. Based in Antwerp, they founded Oper with a clear goal: help European lenders deliver faster decisions and a better mortgage experience — by putting reliable AI agents like Herman to work within existing workflows.
Now Oper operates semi-remotely with offices in Antwerp and Zürich, and our team spans across Europe.
